In October 2007 Marc Willhite and I collaborated to produce an exhibit called In the Spirit of the Text. The exhibit which was hosted by the Curtis Arts and Humanities Center in Greenwood Village, Colorado was a visual exploration of Italo Calvino's Six Memos for the Next Millenium. The exhibit
Considering the exhibition space as an organ, the exhibition Marc and I merged our individual responses to the text. Approaching the the exhibition space as an organ that responds to external stimuli, excerpts from Calvino's memos were visible on selected windows as the source of contemplation that shaped the organization of the show.
